Forestry Mulching

Our mulching head grinds trees and brush right where they stand — leaving nutrient-rich mulch on the ground that suppresses weeds and prevents erosion. No burn piles, no haul-off, no topsoil loss.

  • Trees up to 20–24" diameter
  • Palmetto, invasives, overgrowth
  • Single pass — faster than any alternative
  • No fire or haul-off
Starting at $300/acre

Stump Removal

Leftover stumps are a hazard and an eyesore. We grind them flush to grade — or below — depending on what you're building or planting next.

  • Single stumps or multiple
  • Ground to lawn or build-ready depth
  • Backfilled after grinding
  • Discounts for quantity
Starting at $75/stump

Tree Work

Hazard trees, leaning trees, trees too close to structures — we drop them safely and haul off or chip the material.

  • Hazard & dead tree removal
  • Directional felling
  • Limb-up & canopy management
  • Debris chipped or hauled
Starting at $200/tree

Trail Cutting

New or overgrown trails through wooded or brushy terrain — for hunting access, ATV/UTV use, ranch roads, timber management, or just being able to walk your back forty without a machete.

We cut the path with the right machine for the job — bulldozer for fresh trails through woods, skid steer for tighter corridors, mulcher for trails through palmetto and underbrush. You get a usable, drivable path; we don't leave a moonscape.

  • Hunting trails & food-plot access
  • ATV / UTV / horse trails
  • Ranch & timber-management roads
  • Re-opening trails that have grown over

Invasive Growth Removal

Florida is overrun with invasive plants that strangle native habitat, ruin pastures, and devalue land. Once they take hold, hand-pulling and Round-Up barely scratch the surface — you need mechanical removal.

We target the worst offenders in North Central Florida — pulling, mulching, or excavating them out by the root with the right equipment for the species.

Florida invasives we target

  • · Brazilian pepper
  • · Air potato
  • · Cogongrass
  • · Old World climbing fern
  • · Coral ardisia
  • · Caesarweed
  • · Chinese tallow
  • · Privet hedge

How Land Clearing Works

1

Site Walk & Quote

We walk your property, assess vegetation density, access, acreage, and any special requirements. Written quote within 48 hours.

2

Permits (if needed)

Some clearing in Florida requires permits or notifications — especially near wetlands. We'll advise you on what applies and help you navigate it.

3

Clearing Begins

Our tracked mulcher works systematically across the property. Stumps are ground in the same pass (or scheduled separately). No topsoil disturbance.

4

Tree Work (if applicable)

Any trees requiring directional felling or special handling are addressed by the crew — safety first, precision always.

5

Final Grade & Cleanup

We confirm the land is to your spec — whether that's ready to fence, plant, build, or burn — and leave the site clean.

Land Clearing FAQs

How much does forestry mulching cost per acre in Florida?
Starting around $300/acre for light brush. Dense vegetation or large timber pushes rates to $800–$1,500/acre. We provide free on-site quotes for accurate pricing.
Is forestry mulching better than bulldozing?
For most Florida properties, yes. Mulching preserves topsoil, leaves beneficial ground cover, avoids haul-off costs, and is faster on dense vegetation. Bulldozing is better when you need a completely bare site for construction.
Do I need a permit to clear land in Florida?
Depends on your county and proximity to wetlands. We'll advise you when we do the site walk. Some clearing requires FFS notification or county permits.
Can you selectively clear — keep some trees?
Absolutely. We work with you on which trees to keep and build around them. Selective clearing is a common request.
